The First Annual Christmas Cookie Cook-off is an opportunity to show off your mad baking skills. On December 16, 2008, at 7:30 pm, bring your cookies to 105 Evans Rd, Marlton. We'll have a contest to judge who really makes the best cookies. If you don't bake, don't worry! It's a great time to learn, or to come and fellowship with other young adults and sample some of the greatest treats from around the Mt. Laurel/Marlton area.

There was great concern last night at Bible Study as to the meaning of these category names. So for those of you with no imagination:
ReplyDeleteFirst-Day-of-School Classic = Chocolate Chip
Italian Bakery Knockoff = Anything that isn't chocolate chip
Hey, That's Not a Cookie! = Bars/Brownies/Etc
Best All Around (yeah, team!) = Best all around (with a little shout-out to our Fantastic Fall Festivus . . . which you would have gotten if you had bothered to show up)
So, about that First-Day-of-School Classic....I feel extremely deprived. Don't get me wrong,I mean, I got the love notes from mom written on my napkins all the time and they always made my day...but chocolate chip cookies, freshly baked on the first day of school...hmmm missed that train. In any case, I'm looking forward to making up for all those first days of school that were lacking oh so much! Have a great week y'all and may the best cookie win!
